I finally completed 3 of the 5 training on Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA) to brush up on my server information before implementation.  It was tough 18 days but i feel confident to start building.

Completed trainings below, the other 2 are sort of obsolete since i will be on installing Windows Server 2012 R2 and those 2 courses are on Windows Server 2012.

Took a little time off hardware and software to relax and nothing relaxes me like Web development.

Made a few enhancements to My Blog, amongst other things I did;

  • Connected blog to Windows 8 WordPress App
  • Enable Subscription
  • Enable Likes
  • Post by email
  • Enhance sharing option
  • Mobile theme

For the past weeks I have been researching and gathering information on Windows Server 2012, just to make sure is know all what I need to know before starting software side on the project.

I have identified 5 training on Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA) that I will be running through before the start of any installation.  Need to make sure all bases are covered, don’t want to go in “half-corked”
