The steps for setting up a Windows 10 computer not domain joined to manage a Windows 2012 R2 Hyper-V host server which is domain joined is the same as Windows 8.1.

For this weekend’s project I decided to install Windows 10 Technical Preview Just to see how it looks and feel.
I know its just a Technical Preview but installation took over 2 hours, longest installation i have done since installation of Windows 3.11 over 20 years ago. Video to follow…
